AI math tutor for mastery learning, gap diagnosis, and classroom intervention.
Math Foundation is a Trinity AI math tutor and math intervention software product that maps math as a dependency graph, diagnoses the misconception behind wrong answers, repairs prerequisite gaps, and uses mastery gates before learners advance.
Foundation learner plan
For families, tutors, homeschool learners, and adults who want personalized math learning with unlimited tutoring and spaced review.
Classroom math intervention
For teachers and schools that need a classroom math gap heatmap, roster-based intervention groups, and evidence of repaired prerequisite skills.
Why the model is different
The product combines structured curriculum, Trinity AI tutoring, misconception diagnosis, mastery evidence, and parent or teacher dashboards instead of acting like a generic chatbot or worksheet app.
Math is a building. Most education skips floors.
Traditional classrooms move on when the calendar says so, not when you're ready. One missed concept in grade 4 becomes "I'm not a math person" by grade 9. Math Foundation never moves on until the foundation holds.
The Skill Graph
Every concept in mathematics, mapped as a dependency graph of atomic skills. You always know exactly what you've mastered, what's next, and why.
Trinity AI tutor
A patient voice tutor powered by Trinity AI explains, listens, and re-explains differently — Socratic when you're close, direct when you're stuck. Available every hour you are.
Mastery, not grades
You don't pass with 70%. A skill is mastered when you can do it reliably, explain it, and apply it — then we keep it alive with spaced review.

Wrong answers aren't failures. They're information.
Most apps say "incorrect — try again." Math Foundation reads the mistake itself and names the exact misconception behind it. Watch:
One unbroken path, from first numbers to frontier math
Wherever you start — age 5 or 50 — a diagnostic places you on the graph, and the path adapts around your gaps. Here's a tiny slice of it.
A 9-node slice of the full graph. The alpha graph now includes 600 authored skill briefs across 60 clusters, expanded into 2,400 generated atomic learning units.
Three steps, repeated until mastery
Diagnose
A conversational diagnostic finds your true frontier — often surprising. Adults routinely discover gaps from decades ago that explain everything.
Learn by dialogue
Your tutor teaches the skill aloud, checks understanding with questions, and watches you work. Wrong answers aren't failures — they're diagnostic data.
Prove it & keep it
Demonstrate mastery to unlock the next skill. Spaced reviews resurface old skills at exactly the right interval so the foundation never erodes.
One progression, every learner

See where your learner is stuck, what was repaired, and what unlocks next.

Plan rolloutBuilt for school and family trust
Math Foundation handles learner data like school infrastructure, not a social product. Permissions, exports, and privacy expectations are part of the product surface.
Privacy-first learning
No public student profiles. Learner work stays inside family, teacher, or school-managed contexts.
Parent-managed accounts
Families can manage learner profiles, progress visibility, and review routines from one account.
School dashboard permissions
Classroom views are scoped for teachers and school leaders, with roster and rollout boundaries.
Data export available
Pilot packets and learner evidence can be exported for school review, reporting, and handoff.
School data processing
Procurement, privacy, and onboarding details are captured for Australian school rollout support.
Accessibility statement
The interface is designed for keyboard access, readable contrast, responsive layouts, and reduced motion.
Send one practical packet before the first school call.
Use the pack for principal, curriculum, wellbeing, procurement, and privacy conversations. It collects the one-page overview, pricing, implementation timeline, privacy summary, AI safety summary, sample pilot report, and contact path.
What is live now, and what is still alpha.
Math Foundation is public as a launch surface and demo, with several school-facing components clearly marked as alpha, prototype, or roadmap.

Questions, answered
Who is Math Foundation for?
Anyone from 5 to 95. Kids working ahead of (or catching up to) school, adults finally repairing decades-old gaps, teachers who want to see each student's real skill graph, and homeschool families who need a complete sequenced curriculum. The diagnostic places you where you actually are — no judgment, no grade labels.
How is this different from Khan Academy or a maths app?
Two things. First, the mastery gate is real: you cannot advance past a skill you haven't proven on questions you've never seen, so gaps can't silently accumulate. Second, the tutor diagnoses your specific mistake — answer 35 to 42 − 17 and it recognises the classic column-subtraction bug and re-teaches that, rather than just flashing "incorrect, try again."
What does it cost?
Explorer is free forever: full diagnostic, skill graph placement, three tutored lessons a week, and unlimited self-paced practice. Foundation is $19 AUD/month for unlimited Trinity AI voice tutoring and spaced reviews. Family covers six learners for $49 AUD/month. Classroom bundles start at 30 seats, grade-team bundles at 150 seats, and school bundles at 500+ seats.
Does it replace school or a human teacher?
No — it makes them work better. Classrooms have to move at one speed; Math Foundation repairs and reinforces at yours, then hands teachers a live map of every student's gaps so class time goes where it's needed. Many of our design choices come from teachers, and the educator dashboard is built for them.
How far does the curriculum go?
The current alpha graph exposes 600 authored skill briefs across 60 clusters and 2,400 generated atomic learning units: concept, worked example, application, and mastery gate for every skill. The live demo shows a 17-skill slice, while later credential pathways and summative certificates remain roadmap work.
